White River Park is located at the south end of Main Street & Northern Lights Boulevard and is bounded by the White River. While you are there, you can explore the banks of the river, the rapids which once fueled the White River Lumber Company's mill, and a swimming hole just below the rapids. The park is also a good place to end or begin a trip down the White River via canoe or kayak. Camping is allowed for a fee (see link below).
Depot Park is located next to the Historic Mason Depot at 24380 County Highway E. The park features a large playground, a volleyball court, a small open-air shelter, a large open green space and port-a-potties. A basketball court is also located directly across the road. Every June, the depot, park and surrounding grounds serves as the heart of Mason Days.
Both parks are available for rental for various events. In addition to rental of the park facilities; tables, chairs, and a tent are also available for a fee. To reserve either park or their facilities, please complete and submit the Rental Agreement.
